There are special orders that are given at the beginning of the game. Planning is key but it isn’t that easy and when a player attacks you, he can execute one movement (his choice). Each player control 2 robots and each turn you can add, remove or exchange AT MOST 1 order so handling both robots isn’t as easy as they will continue with the previous programming plus the new order/exchange. The goal of the game is to pick up crystal and deliver them back to your base. Gameplay is a lot more interesting that I was expecting. The game´s components are very good but I don’t like the board art that much, it is ok though. The theme wasn’t explained to me or I don’t remember it. Twin Tin Bots´ rules are easy to teach, you can do it under 7 minutes. It is still not a game for me, but I enjoyed it, it is, perhaps, the best game I have played from designer Philippe Keyaerts although I also kind of like Evo. I (generally) don’t enjoy preprogramed movement games AND pickup and deliver games and Twin Tin Bots has both mechanism in it but I was pleasantly surprised. My desire to play Twin Tin Bots was rather low.
